📋 Application Process & Timeline

Application Process

Applicants must submit their nomination application to the NT Government, demonstrating they meet the relevant criteria for either Subclass 190 or 491. If an application for Subclass 190 is found not eligible, the NT Government will consider the application for Subclass 491.

Important Notes

  • If you or any migrating dependants are currently on a student visa and have not completed studies in connection with that student visa, you will not be eligible for NT nomination.
  • If you have previously been nominated for a Subclass 489 or 491 visa by the NT Government, you will not be eligible for a Subclass 190 nomination.
  • The NT Government does not prioritise applicants by points score.
  • Meeting the guidelines does not guarantee a nomination; each application is assessed on its own merits.
  • Only applicants with a greater connection to the NT than any other state or territory will be considered for Subclass 190.
